Our Vision

Dr. Lydia Sánchez is a compassionate and experienced physician specializing in Internal Medicine, dedicated to helping her patients achieve lasting wellness through personalized, integrative care. With over two decades of clinical practice, she focuses on prevention, chronic disease management, and lifestyle optimization to empower each individual toward better health.
She completed her Internal Medicine training at Hospital Regional de Bayamón Dr. Ruiz Arnau in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and her rotatory internship at Hospital Auxilio Mutuo in San Juan. Dr. Sánchez earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
Dr. Sánchez also has advanced training in Functional Medicine, allowing her to blend traditional internal medicine with holistic, evidence-based therapies that support optimal health, longevity, and vitality. Her practice philosophy centers on empathy, patient education, and partnership—reflecting SANELMED’s mission to provide compassionate, personalized, and forward-thinking medical care.
